FEATURE: Who could replace Diego Costa at Chelsea should he leave for China?

With Diego Costa persisting to be strongly linked away from the Premier League champions in a £500,000+ p/week in China, there is a strong possibility that Costa could be set to depart Stamford Bridge.

90MAAT profile the options available to Antonio Conte in his
quest to replace Costa should the Spaniard depart this Summer.

Patrick Pierre Aubameyang

£60 million is the reported figure for the 27 year old Gabon striker who has asked to leave Borussia Dortmund.

With 31 goals in 32 appearances this season, his goals to games ratio offers promising value to any prospective employers; unquestionably including Chelsea.

The pace Aubameyang would bring to Chelsea could fit perfectly with Hazard and Willian if they were played either side of him, it would create a perfect counter-attacking three that would scare any Premier League defence starting in August 2017.

Although they will have to act fast if rumours are to be believed as a move to PSG begins to materialise.

Kylian Mbappe

The young French forward has had a break through season in the south of France, helping Monaco in winning Ligue 1 by scoring 18 goals domestically and also contributing to their impressive run in the Champions League.

The 18 year-old star striker has unquestionably enjoyed considerable success at Monaco this season: in doing so he has attracted attention from some of Europe’s powerhouse clubs.

However Chelsea would join a long list of teams interested in signing the next superstar, with Arsenal reportedly already having a £75 million bid rejected. With interest from all over Europe Chelsea will have to act fast to secure his signature.

Romelu Lukaku

The one that got away? In hindsight Chelsea should never have let him go. Lukaku has had another fabulous season scoring 25 goals in the Premier League just shy of winning the golden boot.

He already knows the club and feels that he has unfinished business with the Blues. It could be time he finally makes his mark in a Chelsea shirt, though it will mean Chelsea having to pay a lot more then they sold him for with Everton holding out for £100 million.

Lukaku’s arrival back at Stamford Bridge could be the sign of a team set to challenge for retaining their status as Premier League champions, though regardless of where Lukaku is plying his trade next season you can expect one thing from the Belgian: goals, and a lot of them.
