Anthony Martial being monitored by three of Europe’s elite clubs

Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund are said to be interested in signing Manchester United winger Anthony Martial.

It is believed that the Frenchman is unhappy at Old Trafford, with rumours suggesting he has asked boss Mourinho to leave. In July this year, Martial’s agent made comments in the media signifying the winger was on his way out, a notion which was rejected by United officials.

It has been a disappointing season for Anthony Martial, as he struggled to secure a regular starting spot under Mourinho. To add insult to injury, he was left out of Didier Deschamps’s World Cup winning France squad, with lack of quality playing time being the key reason. The 22-year-old has plenty of time to reinvigorate his career, but it is unclear whether that will be in Manchester or elsewhere.

United have strongly denied Martial will be allowed to leave this summer, with Mourinho rumoured to be considering making the Frenchman central to his attacking plans for the 2018/19 season.

If Chelsea, Munich, or Dortmund were to tempt Martial away from Old Trafford it would surely have to be a considerably large bid. Chelsea may well be set to make some significant investments as rumours persist that Hazard and Courtois will be departing Stamford Bridge for Real Madrid this Summer.
