Hudson-Odoi, a Chelsea youth-product, had been tipped to break into Chelsea’s first team under Maurizio Sarri following a promising preseason with the Blues.

However, a distinct lack of minutes on the pitch has followed, leading to questions and enquiries as to where the future of their young forward lies.

Borrusia Dortmund are also interested in Hudson-Odoi, whose contract is set to expire in 2020.

The forward, who joined Chelsea at U8 level, was a key part of the England U17 World Cup winning side, registering three assists in 5-2 victory over Spain in the final.

Hudson-Odoi got his first Premier League minutes of the season against Watford on Wednesday night, but was withdrawn late on in the game after suffering an injury in the final minutes.

Chelsea, as reported by Sky, are set to demand nearer to £22.5m to consider parting with their prized asset, though following the success of English youngster Jadon Sancho at Borrusia Dortmund, Hudson-Odoi may be considering his options in an attempt to prevent his career at Stamford Bridge stalling.
