Hello everyone, hope you’ve recovered after that abysmal GW! Welcome to the second part of my BGW31 Watchlist where I will take you through the options from the remaining four teams: West Brom, Bournemouth, Stoke & Everton. Enjoy!
First up is West Brom. If I’m honest the options are very slim, they are bottom of the League and are all but resigned to relegation. If you are looking for a striker Rondon (6.0) could be your man – the guy works tirelessly for his team and has 2 goals in 5GWs. Last season’s favourite Matt Phillips (5.4) could be an option if you are feeling nostalgic! At the back Hegazi (4.7) has history in this fixture bagging a goal, clean sheet and max BPs in the reverse fixture. Probably best to avoid though in all honesty!
Secondly, West Brom’s opponents – Bournemouth. Eddie Howe’s men have a dream fixture to bounce back from last week’s 4-1 drubbing against Spurs. Up front Wilson and King (5.9 & 7.0) could get some goals against a weak Baggies defence. In the midfield Stanislas (5.9) has 3 goals in 6 GWs and 2 double figure hauls this year – owned by only 1.1% he could be an explosive differential! At the back Daniels (4.7) is always attacking and is likely to bag a clean sheet. In my opinion a triple up on Bournemouth will pay dividends!
Next up is Stoke City. Under Paul Lambert they have improved at the back and become somewhat specialists in draws! They face an Everton side who have been woeful on the road under Big Sam but also tight defensively. For me the standout option is Shaqiri (6.7), he has been Stokes go to man this season and in the City game looked the most likely to get them back into the game. At the back Jack Butland (5.0) has been in great form recently
The final team to preview is Everton. In my opinion there are quite a few assets worth your consideration. In attack Theo Walcott (7.1) has been passed fit and looked very lively in his few games since joining the club, the former Arsenal man thought he’d scored last week only for it to go down as an OG; he’ll be eager to make amends this week. Another January signing Cenk Tosun (6.8) has 2 in 2 games. He’s got the form to prove a canny differential this week. Further back the veteran full back pairing of Baines (5.6) and Coleman (6.4) have both recorded attacking returns in the past 2 GWs and the defence looks to have been strengthened by their return.
That concludes my BGW31 Watch list for 90MAAT! Thanks you all for reading and best of luck for the upcoming GW.
