Hi everyone – FPL Physio here. Welcome to part one of my ‘BGW31 Watch list’ where I will look at the best options from the first 4 teams. Personally, I can’t wait until BGW31, it’s a great chance to catch up in the OR and have some fun with some ultimate differentials! Enjoy.
First up its Liverpool. Having triple Liverpool for the GW is a must have, they have been a great source of points for us this season and are the only reliable team playing. Mo Salah (10.5) and Robbie Firmino (9.3) are great picks and you probably already own them however the third Liverpool slot is up for debate. Triple attack with Sadio Mane (9.4) or get a defender like Van Dijk (5.5) or Andy Robertson (4.8). Watford at home is a good fixture so defensive returns are likely; however, their attack is on fire so tripling up certainly has the higher ceiling. If you choose to avoid the obvious picks then Alex Oxlade Chamberlain (5.9) seems to have nailed down a starting place and has two assists in two GWs. Emre Can (4.9) has two double figure hauls this term so could be rewarding.

Defensively they are solid – players like Jose Holebas (4.8) and Adrian Mariappa (4.2) have provided three cleans sheets in five. Unfortunately, they are up against the attack of Liverpool, so defenders aren’t recommended. However further forward Doucoure (5.5) has goals against Chelsea and Liverpool this season so could pop up with another. The captain, Troy Deeney (6.3) is back to his bullish best with 18 points in two GWs, against an error susceptible Liverpool defence he could profit again. The ultimate differential is Will Hughes (4.9), he has two goals and two assists in only six appearances this season – a great record for such a low price.
Next up is Huddersfield. The terriers are finding form at the right time! They have great fixtures in GW30/31 so jumping on now may be the best option. Their star striker Mounie (5.7) looks to be the most reliable source of points, he’s got 25 in three GWs. Early season favourite Aaron Mooy (5.3) could return from injury in time and is always a contender for a goal. Their two stalwarts at the back – Schindler and Zanka (4.6 & 4.5 respectively) are BPs magnets so a clean sheet will pop them in the hunt for extras. Any player from Huddersfield is a differential – there highest owned play is Zanka at 6.8%. Van La Parra (4.8) has good attacking stats in recent week so could be one to watch.

The standouts for me are penalty merchant Mili – how do you spell it? – vojevic (4.9), Palace do get a lot of penalties. Other options include Tomkins (4.4) he is a BPs magnet so if you are backing them to keep out Huddersfield then he’s your man. The striker Benteke (7.6) is surprisingly in form with five assists and a goal in seven GWs, owned by only 2.6% could be an explosive differential.
That’s concludes part one of my BGW31 watchlist, part two will look at the other four teams.
