PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot has reportedly rejected a new contract offer from the Parisian club and will leave this summer according to The Mirror.
The player has been in and out of the first team since the middle of October and now looks set for a fresh challenge. The news will come as a boost to many sides across Europe, with the Frenchman able to sign a pre-contract agreement with any club outside of France from January.
Numerous Premier League sides are reportedly interested in signing the 23-year-old, with Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs long-term admirers of the player.
However, any Premier League side will have to move quickly with Barcelona also interested. Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo have this morning reported that the player is on the brink of agreeing a deal to join the Catalan side this summer. The move would likely see the end of Andre Gomes’ Barcelona career. The midfielder has impressed since moving on-loan to Everton in the summer and is likely to not be short of options if he is asked to move on in 2019.
The prospect of the player joining a new side permanently in January can also not be ruled out, with PSG likely to try and recoup some money for their academy product.
