Above is the current Premier League table following matchday 4. As we go into the first international break of the 2018/19 season, we look at how the 90MAAT writer’s predicted table at the end of the season is panning out. The symbols at the side of the team name represent how they are currently doing in relation to the predicted final table. For example, Liverpool ˄ 1 means that Liverpool are currently one place above what 90MAAT writers predicted before a ball was kicked.

It is still very early days in the beginning of this season, so this table is by no means representative of what is to come, but it’s interesting to have a look at what sort of starts each team has made. The top three teams have dropped no points and are currently only separated by goal difference. Manchester City are also unbeaten but after a rather surprising draw to Wolves, they sit 4th on 10 points. Watford have made an astounding start to the season and are our highest climbers at this checkpoint, climbing 13 places. Bournemouth have also made an incredible start this campaign and have jumped an impressive 12 places, the relegation zone no-where in sight – at this moment in time anyway.

Arsenal and Manchester United are letting the top 6 predictions down, both propping up the top half of the table after some shaky starts. But maybe we should give them more respect, it’s still early on after all.

The bottom five teams are still without a win under their belts, West Ham must be particularly worried with 0 points. Hence why they are our biggest fallers with a mighty 12 places dropped. Burnley have also dropped almost half the table and see themselves in 19th.

Barring the teams mentioned, the furthest we have been off by is only three places, with a few teams only 1 or 2 places off our prediction. It must also be said that Everton in 7th and Fulham in 13th is what we predicted and is what currently stands, a win for the writers here.
