PREVIEW: Burnley vs West Ham United – 14/10/17

Burnley vs West Ham United

Date: 14/10/17

K.O: 15:00pm

Burnley host West Ham at Turf Moor this Saturday and will be hoping to continue their promising start to the 2017/18 Premier League campaign, whilst West Ham will want to continue their recovery after a disappointing start to the season.

West Ham are in good form after earning seven points form their last four games, whilst also keeping three clean sheets in the process. However, Burnley will be wanting to keep their fantastic form going as they sit sixth in the league after gaining 12 points from their first seven Premier League games.

Team News:

Sean Dyche will still be without Nahki Wells and Dean Marney as they are being reintegrated into light training, however Jonathan Walters and Tom Heaton remain long-term absentees.

However, West Ham have only James Collins missing for the game against Burnley. Although Javier Hernandez could start on the bench as he had extended leave from international duty due to personal reasons.

Predicted Line-ups:

Burnley: Pope, Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Ward, Brady, Defour, Cork, Arfield, Hendrick and Wood.

Formation: 4-4-1-1

West Ham: Hart, Zabaleta, Reid, Fonte, Cresswell, Kouyate, Obiang, Arnautovic, Lanzini, Antonio and Carroll.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Prediction: Burnley 1 West Ham 3

This will be a close encounter as both teams are in strong form. Burnley are playing the better football at the moment and deserve their league position, but with West Ham slowly improving if they can hit top form in this game they should give Burnley a tough game at Turf Moor.
