Chelsea vs Everton

Everton and Chelsea face of this weekend in what promises to one of the must see matches this weekend. It is a match that both teams will see as a tough test.
Chelsea will look to gain their first home win of the campaign after losing 2-3 to Burnley on the opening day. Meanwhile, Everton will look to remain unbeaten as their difficult run of fixtures continues.
After losing to Burnley on the opening day, Chelsea fans will now be feeling optimistic after beating Spurs in the first Premier League game to be played at Wembley.
The defending champions look to build on last weekend’s performance and silence early criticisms they have faced. Whilst it is still the beginning of season, a strong start will be needed to compete with the other title contention teams.
Everton will be looking to continue their unbeaten start to the season amidst a tough opening run of games. Everton boss Koeman will be happy with his side’s 1-1 draw against City.
Everton’s defensive resilience against a sharp City side will be a quality that the Blue’s will want to take with them to Stamford Bridge. Everton’s Wayne Rooney will also be looking to continue his opening season form and add to his two goals in two games.
Chelsea:
Antonio Conte’s only injured player is Eden Hazard who is recovering from ankle surgery. However, it will not be long before he returns to the Premier League and he has been selected for Belgium’s squad for next month’s international fixtures.
Conte remains without club captain Gary Cahill who is serving a three match ban for his red card against Burnley. Cesc Fabregas has served his one match ban and is likely to return on the weekend. We may see Conte field the same team that were so successful against Spurs
Everton:
Everton remain without long term injuries; Seamus Coleman, Yannick Bolasie and Funes Mori. Ross Barkley and James McCarthy are close to recovery but this weekend’s fixture is too close for a return.
Sandro Ramirez is also fighting to regain fitness after missing Monday’s game against Man City but is likely to be involved in the squad.
It is also likely that Gylfi Sigurdsson will feature for his first Premier League start for Everton after scoring magnificent volley in the squads Europa League qualifier in Croatia.
