Southampton play host to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday the 21st of January at St Mary’s.
Pellegrino will be well aware of the position that his team are in, without a win in 10 games and precariously hovering above the relegation zone on goal difference his team are in dire need of impetus in their bid to avoid relegation.

To make matters worse for the Saints, they have only won one game in eleven previously played against Spurs, and that man Harry Kane is on tantalising form.
Spurs will have a slightly weakened side with Hugo Lloris to potentially miss the game through illness. Danny Rose and Harry Winks are also missing through injury.

Spurs – 4-5-1 – Gazzaniga, Aurier, Vertonghen, Dier, Davies, Wanyama, Eriksen, Alli, Son, Dembele, Kane.
Saints – 4-1-2-1-2 – McCarthy, Cedric, Hoedt, Stephens, Bertrand, Lemina, Buffal, Redmond, Tadic, Long.
Prediction: Saints 1 Spurs 4
