Watford vs Arsenal

Watford host Arsenal at Vicarage Road on Saturday, with Marco Silva and Arsene Wenger’s sides separated by just a point in the 2017/18 Premier League table.
Watford have been on very strong run of form recently; losing just once in their 6-0 loss to Manchester City, whilst recording impressive away wins at Southampton and Bournemouth. They have also scored as many goals as Arsenal (11), and the contest at Vicarage Road can be expected to be far from a bore-draw.
With incredibly inform players such as Richarlison in there attacking lineup, Watford may stand a chance of snatching all three points against the Gunners, and their performance against Liverpool in August during which they scored three goals will give hope to Marco Silva’s side.
The Hornets have gained more points away from home this season, so the fact this match is at Vicarage Road won’t ease the minds of fans. Arsenal generally do well against teams with a more open side of play who are not in the ‘6 best’, and Watford are one of those open and attacking teams.
It does have to be stated however that Watford have beaten Arsenal at the Emirates this year so – like most Premier League games – Wenger will still be understandably cautious.
This is a must win for Arsenal if they want to keep momentum and continue the race for a Champions League place, and despite the Hornets good form and strong determination this season, I feel Arsenal should and will win this one.
