Roy Hodgson makes admission regarding Zaha and Wan-Bissaka

Roy Hodgson had admitted that Crystal Palace will consider offers for star men Wilfried Zaha and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The admission from Palace’s manager will be welcome news to the Premier League’s top-six, with both Zaha and Wan-Bissaka attracting attention from the league’s elite clubs.

Palace can expect to receive bids for both Zaha and Wan-Bissaka, and Hodgson called for the club to be realistic in the event of a colossal bid for either player.

“We would be more than happy to keep them But we just have to remain realistic and see what happens” said Hodgson.

“If offers come in they will obviously be assessed, like everything else”.

“As I heard Manuel Pellegrini quite rightly say the other day [when discussing Declan Rice’s future]: every footballer player does have a price.”

The news will come as a disappointing blow to the Selhurst Park faithful, combined with the news that majority owners Josh Harris and David Blitzer are looking to sell their shares in the Premier League club.

Palace currently sit 13th in the Premier League table on 36 points and barring a spectacular collapse will be plying their trade in the English top-flight once again next season.

Zaha and Wan-Bissaka are unquestionably Palace’s two biggest assets in footballing and financial terms, yet with rumours gathering pace of interest from Manchester United in Wan-Bissaka and longstanding interest from the top-six in Zaha, the summer window could present a problematic period for the South London side.
