Liverpool linked Lorenzo Insigne has been valued at £80m by Napoli, according to reports in Gazetta dello Sport (via Inside Futbol).
Insigne has impressed for Napoli under new manager Carlo Ancelotti, and Liverpool are believed to have a long-term interest in bringing the 27-year-old striker to Anfield.
He has been with the club since 2010, scoring 54 goals in 213 appearances, and despite Liverpool’s infamous front three of Saido Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah, extra fire-power in their attacking armoury would do no harm to Jurgen Klopp’s pursuit of silverware on Merseyside.
Liverpool are currently unbeaten in the Premier League with eight wins and two draws, whilst Insigne’s Napoli sit second in Serie A, seven points behind Massimo Allegri’s unbeaten Juventus side.
