Manchester United and Chelsea set for shocking swap deal

Chelsea and Manchester United are considering a swap deal including Anthony Martial and Willian  Borges da Silva, according to the Mirror.

Mourinho allegedly doesn’t rate Martial and is keen to add to his current playing staff. With both players seeking the exit from their respective clubs, the swap deal could be ideal for both parties.

Martial has been on the wrong side of Mourinho in recent times and was peculiarly fined £180,000 for flying home to be with his wife as she gave birth to their child. Willian has also had a torrid time of late at Chelsea, reportedly falling out with former manager Antonio Conte, so much so that he censored the Italian manager in a picture last year as Chelsea celebrated winning the FA Cup.

A move to Manchester would see Willian reunite with Mourinho, who brought the Brazilian to Stamford Bridge. If Martial were to make the move to South London, it would provide the 22-year-old to reignite his career after he burst onto the scene in the 2015/16 season.

Marital was left out of France’s World Cup winning squad, despite netting 11 times. New Chelsea boss has outlined his attacking philosophy early on, which would certainly fit the Frenchman in terms of playing style.
