Southampton vs Burnley
Date: Saturday 4th November
K.O: 15.00pm
Venue: St Mary’s
Burnley travel to St Mary’s on Saturday, with the contest between Sean Dyche and Mauricio Pellegrino’s sides expected to be a closely contested affair between two relatively in-form Premier League teams.
High flying Burnley have taken more points this season so far (8) on the road than the whole of the 2016/17 season, and they will be keen to add Southampton to their list of scalps on Saturday.
However, in the team’s last four meetings at St Mary’s, Southampton have emerged victorious, and Burnley have only won one out of the last 19 games in all competitions against Southampton.

Steven Defour is looking unlikely to be match fit for Saturdays game and Chris Wood is 50/50 to start.
Wesley Hoedt stepped in last weekend in place of Maya Yoshida and is expected to retain his starting berth alongside Cedric Soares, Virgil van Dijk and Ryan Bertrand in the back four for the Saints.
Southampton have suffered a massive blow as Mario Lemina, who has been undoubtedly Southampton’s best player so far, is unable to play due to an ankle injury.
